What are your income requirements?
Our community requires our residents to gross at least 3x the monthly rent. A qualifying cosigner must gross 4x the rent of the apartment. We can also factor in additional income such as child support, etc.

How much is the security deposit?
The security deposit is based upon four criteria: Credit, income, background, and rental history. The security deposit will range from $200 to one (1) months rent based on the findings of this screening. Regardless of the total, the application deposit goes toward the total security deposit. 

Application fee:
$50 fee per applicant; guarantors must also pay this fee.

Application deposit:
$200 (this secures the apartment and takes it off the market). If you are denied based on your credit/background/income screening, this deposit will be refunded. If you choose to cancel your application, this deposit will not be refunded. 

Do you allow pets? 
Yes, at Scotts View, our apartments are pet-friendly. Please reference our breed restrictions and contact us for more information. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $350 and pet rent is $20-$40 per pet each month.

The following breeds will not be permitted on the property regardless of weight unless they are a companion or assistance dog: American Staffordshire Terrier, Akita, Chow Chow, Rottweiler, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Doberman Pinschers, Australian Cattle Dog, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Alaskan Malamutes, and Wolf Hybrids.

What utilities are included?
All utilities are included! Water/sewer/trash, electricity, DISH, high-speed internet (150mbps), and parking are all included in rent. VA Skywire is our internet provider.

What documentation do I need to apply?
  • Picture ID (valid driver's license)
  • Social security card
  • 2 current pay stubs or offer letter from employer (if you have a new job), W-2, or I-20, etc.
